The Bhagwat Geeta

The Bhagwat Geeta

BHAGWAT GEETA

One should not think that he is equal to Krsna, nor should he think that Krsna is an ordinary personality or even a very great personality. Lord Sri Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Goadhead.
So according to the statements of Bhagwad-gita or the statements of Arjuna, the person who is trying to understand the Bhagavad –Gita we should at least theoretically accepted Sri Krsna as the Supreme Personality Godhead, and with that submissive sprit we can understand the Bhagavad- Gita.

Golden rule

Unless one reads the Bhagavad-gita in a submissive spirit, it is very difficult to understand Bhagvad-Gita, because it is a great mystery.
Every man is in difficulty in so many ways, as Arjuna also was in difficulty in having to fight the Battle of Kuruksetra. Arjuna surrounded unto Sri Krsna and consequently this Bhagvad-gita was spoken. Not only Arjuna, but everyone of us is full of anxieties because of this material existence.
Purified consciousness means acting in accordance with the instructions of the Lord. This is the whole sumand substance of purified consciousness. Consciousness is already there because we are part and parcel of the Lord, but for us there is the affinity of being affected by the inferior modes.
SANATANA.

The purpose of Bhagavad –Gita is to deliver mankind from the nescience of material existence.

All the instructions of Bhagavad-gita are intended to awaken this pure consciousness, and therefore we find at the last stage of the Gita’s instructions, that Krsna is asking Arjuna whether he is now in purified consciousness.

Vedic literature is meant for human beings, not for animals. Animals can kill other living animals.

1.       The jiva is also describe as sanatana, eternal, and the Lord is also describe as sanatana. Supreme personality and the sanatana living entities.

2.       SARVA YONISU AHAM BIJA PRADAH PITA.   I AM THE FATHER OF ALL AND OFCOURSE THERE ARE ALL TYPES OF LIVING ENTITIES ACCORDING TO THEIR VARIOUS KARMAS, BUT HERE THE LORD CLAIMS THAT HE IS THE FATHER OF ALL OF THEM.

3.       Religion conveys the idea of faith, and faith may change. One may have faith in a particular process and he may change this faith and adopt another, but sanatana-dharma refers to that activity which cannot be changed.
4.       Sanatana-dharma is eternally integral with the living entity. When we speak of sanatana- dharma, therefore we must take it for granted on the authority of spirituality.
5.       Sanatana- Dharma there is no beginning to the history of subject and it remains externally with the living entities. The authoritative sastras state that the living entity has neither birth nor death.
In Gita it is stated that the living entity is never born and he never dies. . He is eternal and indestructible. And it continues to live after the destruction of his temporary material body.
6.       What is Bhagavan?
No one is equal to or above Him. He is the primeval Lord, or Bhagavan, known as Govinda, and he is the supreme cause of all causes.
Krsna is the original Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Absolute Truth, the source of both the Super soul and the impersonal Brahman.
The word Aryan is applicable on spiritual realization. Person whoar eled by the material conception of life do not know that the aim of life is realization of the Abosolute Truth.
Arjuna Said to Krsna “I AM CONFUSED ABOUT MY DUTY AND HAVE LOST ALL COMPOSURE BECAUSE OF MISERLY WEAKNESS.
In this condition I am asking you to tell me for certain what is best for me. Now I am your disciple, and a soul surrendered unto you. Please instruct me”.
One cannot have a taste of honey unless one opens the bottle. Similarly, the mysticism of the Bhagavad- Gita can be understood only by devotees and no one else can taste it, as it is stated in the Fourth Chapter of the book.
One who has taken his birth is sure to die, and after death one is sure to take birth again. Therefore, in the unavoidable discharge of your duty, you should not lament.
A person who is not disturbed by the incessant flow of desires that enter like rivers into the ocean, which is ever being filled but is always still can alone achieve peace, and not the man who strives to satisfy such desires.
Failed.  If I did not perform prescribed duties, all these worlds would be put to ruination. I would be the cause of creating unwanted population, and I would thereby destroy the peace of all living beings.

Ans.   The Sanskrit word bhagavan is explained by the great authority Parasara Muni, the father of Vyasadeva. The supreme personality who possesses all riches, all strength, all frame, all beauty, all knowledge and all renunciation is called Bhagavan.

There are many person who are very rich, very powerful, very beautiful, very famous, very learned and very much detached, but one can claim that he possesses all riches all strength etc. He is the  Supreme Personality of Godhead.

No living entity, including Brahma, Lord Siva or Narayana, can possess opulences as fully as Krsna. Therefore it is concluded in the Brahma-samhita by Lord Brahma himself that Lord Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
